项目摘要

本研究は、シベリア先住民言語であるコリヤーク語およびアリュートル語（チュクチ・カムチャッカ語族）、イテリメン語、ユカギール語、セリクープ語（サモエード諸語）の諸方言につき、①方言差の観点から見た既存資料の集積と整理、②言語研究に利用されていない資料の実態把握、③テキスト資料に基づく語彙資料の抽出をおこなうことで、語彙資料を集積して比較語彙データベースを構築し、それらをもとに各方言の特徴と語彙レベルでの方言差を明らかにすることをめざしている。2021年度は、前年度に引き続き新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大により、当初予定していた海外フィールド調査を実施することができなかった。したがって前年度と同様に母語話者やコミュニティメンバーと連絡をとりつつ、オンラインで作業を進めた。また、コミュニティメンバーの中からコンピューターによる作業が可能な新たな研究協力者を得て、アリュートル語の語彙カード、手書きのテキスト資料、過去に収集された音声資料の文字化等の作業を進め、語彙データベースの資料を拡充した。イテリメン語については前年度に引き続き、イテリメン語の会話・モノローグの書き起こしおよび形態素分析を行い、北部方言と南部方言の語彙的差異および借用語等について検討した。またイテリメン語北部方言の民話の英語訳を行い、公開準備を進めた。このほか主に国内でできる資料分析に取り組み、資料を分析して得られた研究成果を国内外の学会での発表や、学術雑誌の論文として公開した。
