项目摘要

デジタル経済の到来とともに雇用が再びインフォーマル化しつつあると言われる状況をふまえて、仕事と福祉の結び直しに向けた社会政策の規範をいかに構想できるか。本研究はこの問いに答えようとするものである。デジタル経済の到来は20世紀型の福祉国家が前提としていた仕事と福祉の結びつきを切り離す可能性があり、その徴候はすでに新たなインフォーマル雇用として表われている。本研究では、福祉社会学・家族社会学・産業社会学・経済社会学・社会階層論を専門とする研究者が協働し、理論と調査、歴史比較、国際比較、政策分析を統合する形でインフォーマル雇用の研究に取り組んでいる。本年度もコロナ禍の影響で現地調査は実施できなかったが、昨年度に引き続き定期的にオンライン研究会を開催し、充実した討論を行なった。さらに、2023年2月には「第二回自営業者・フリーランスの働き方と生活に関する全国調査」（サンプルサイズ：自営業5,800，正規雇用1,100，非正規雇用1,100）を実施した。本年度の研究実績として特筆すべきは、台湾・香港・インドの研究者との交流を通じて、国際比較から見たインフォーマル雇用の多面性への理解を深めたことである。日本と最も対照的なインドについて紹介しよう。日本ではフォーマル雇用を中心としつつ新たなインフォーマル雇用の登場が注目されているが、インドでは事情が異なる。もともとインフォーマル経済の存在が大きく、例えば西ベンガル州の地方都市クリシュナナガルの路地裏では、同じ衣料品店でもフォーマルな小売店とインフォーマルな露店が向き合って商売している。さらに、バンガロールのフードデリバリーではウーバーイーツに似たプラットフォームが使われているが、その担い手は日本とは異なっている。

This research is conducted in the fields of well-being sociology, family sociology, industrial sociology, economic sociology, and social stratification theory.
