项目摘要

2022年度は、前年度から続く新型コロナウイルス感染症に伴う各種の制約や、調査の設計・打ち合わせ等にかかる時間が当初予定より多少変動したことがあり、当初計画からの若干の変更はあった。しかしながら、研究課題の趣旨をおおむね変えない範囲において、研究は進捗し、一定の成果を挙げることができた。前年度より引き続き取り組んできた、「アクセシビリティの総体的感覚」、すなわち日常生活の中で必要なもの、あるいは望まれるものに、全体として大きな不便なくアクセスできると感じているかという指標に関する研究では、主にウォーカビリティ指標との関係について考察し、国内における地理学の査読誌などに発表した。また、その過程で開発した、全国の郵便番号界別ウォーカビリティ指標とその実用性の検討についても、指標データ自体を含めた査読誌上での公表にまもなく至る段階である。こうした取組みの中で、今後取り組むべき新たな分析視角を検討し提示することもできており、2022年度も引き続き、理論と実践の両面において有意義な進展があったと考えている。研究プロジェクト全体としても、社会調査と地理情報を結びつけたマルチレベルデータの構築から、国内外での研究蓄積が薄かった認知的アクセシビリティにかかる議論を進展させ、ウォーカビリティをはじめとする関連概念との接続に結び付けることができ、学界において評価されるだけでなく社会的意義も大きい、独自性のある成果を得られたと自負している。
