项目摘要

本研究は、利己性、情念という二軸の人間理解をベースに、人間が「公共性への共感」を獲得する過程を論じる18世紀の哲学者ヒュームのテキストを分析し、「規範心理学」解釈をヒュームの思想に適用するものである。令和３年度の計画は、前年度の成果を基に、以下の３項目の達成を目標とするものとした。① 令和３年度末までにオックスフォード大学での研究滞在を開始させる。② 国内外における研究打ち合わせおよび研究成果の学会発表を行い、①の成果と併せて本研究を文献的・理論的に確立し、博士論文を提出する。③ アウトリーチ活動として、ヒューム的社会モデルと親和性の高い「哲学対話」活動等の実践によって、学問の垣根を越えた人々とヒューム的社会モデルを共有する。これらの内、① オックスフォード大学での研究滞在に関しては、令和３年度も引き続き新型コロナウイルスの影響により、渡航を延期せざるを得なかった。従って、当初の計画におけるオックスフォード大学での研究滞在に該当する部分が令和３年度に達成が困難となった。これを受けて、新型コロナウイルスの影響による採用期間の延長を行った上で、渡航先の受け入れ教員との調整の結果、翌年度末の渡航開始の計画に変更となった。② 国内外における研究打ち合わせ、および研究成果の学会発表に関しては、これまでの研究成果を元に、国内外において複数の研究打ち合わせ、オンライン開催の学会にで研究発表を行い、目標を部分的に達成させることができた。しかし、博士論文の提出に関しては①の成果を反映させる必要があるため、翌年度へ持ち越すこととなった。③ アウトリーチ活動としての「哲学対話」活動等の実践に関しては、適宜感染対策を実施した上で予定通り行うことができた。
