新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響に伴い、海外での資料調査が困難になり、また年間を通して子の安全な預け先を得ることが難しく、十分な研究時間を確保することが不可能であったため、2020年10月から本年度の9月まで、2年にわたって採用を中断した。本年度はまず、採用再開後に向けて、バカロレアの音楽科目試験に関連した文献の収集と読解を進めた。2000年代以降の試験問題で、レオ・フェレやリシャール・ガリアーノといったフランスの大衆音楽のミュージシャンが取り上げられていることから、主にミュゼットやシャンソンのジャンルに関して、近年の研究動向を整理した（たとえば、H. Dauncey ＆ S. Cannon編『Popular Music in France from Chanson to Techno』（Ashgate, 2003年）や、G. Guibert ＆ C. Rudent編『Made in France: Studies in Popular Music』（Routledge, 2018年）所収の論文など）。10月の採用再開後は、音楽雑誌『L'education musicale』のバカロレア特集号（2013~2021年）のなかの、20世紀のジャズ・ロック史の記述の分析を行った。近年の試験問題に、マイルス・デイヴィスのアルバム『TUTU』やウェザー・リポートの〈バードランド〉といったフュージョンの作品や、イブラヒム・マーロフやアヴィシャイ・コーエンらのアラビック・ジャズの音楽が取り上げられていることから、それらの事例の位置づけが明確になるように、サブジャンルが並列的に記述される傾向が確認された。
