本研究は、中世日本の自国認識としての国土観とそこに表れる大陸（異国）観を比較し、理念的統率者としての天皇の思想的位相を追究するものである。当該年度は、中世の対外戦争である「蒙古襲来」「応永の外寇」の際に登場した異国御祈の対象となった神仏と、これらの神仏が守備する国土観をつうじて形成された、大陸観への連続性を分析した。本朝としての日本が大陸との連続性を受容する政治的・文化的契機として、２つの対外戦争が挙げられる。具体的には、醍醐寺僧侶の通海が撰述した『太神宮参詣記』（『参詣記』）『清瀧権現講式』『五社講式』『十帖鈔』等にみられる「蒙古襲来」関係の記述を分析し、通海の死後、通海が作り出した神明と仏法に関する対外的な言説が再生産され、政治的に享受されることにより、伊勢ー天照大神を登場させた異国観が国内に醸成されていく過程を考察した。具体的には、将軍足利義持の時代に通海『参詣記』のうち神宮法楽に備える記述が満済によって書写されたと推測される史料「伊勢大神宮事」（『醍醐寺文書』所収）を分析した結果、応永の外寇に際し蒙古襲来時の言説が再生産され、天照大神をはじめとする神仏観や異国御祈が継承されている点を導いた。また、義持期は伊勢における神宮法楽の再整備が政治的に行われる一方で、京中に怨霊や疫病と対峙する「伊勢の神」が風聞される。対外的な脅威と政情不安は、怪異や異国といった目に見えない観念的な世界が語られることによって、伊勢－天照大神の神格にゆらぎがみられるようになる。上述した史料の分析をつうじて、対外戦争を契機に「異賊」に対峙する伊勢ー天照大神が登場する過程のなかに、天照大神を含む神仏の所在が神話的国土観から対外的国家観へと接続され、さらにそこから言説の享受主体が分岐していく社会的変容を見出した。

This study compares the understanding of Japan in the Middle Ages with that of mainland China and investigates the status of Japan's ideological leaders. In that year, when the "Mongolian invasion" and "foreign invaders" occurred in the Middle Ages, the objects of foreign imperial prayers and the gods of the past appeared. The national landscape was formed and the connectivity of the mainland was analyzed. Japan's relations with the mainland and the United States have been affected by political and cultural opportunities and disputes with foreign countries. The specific description of the relationship between the "Mongolian attack" and the "Mongolian attack" is analyzed. After the death of Tonghai, Tonghai made a statement about the gods and the law. The reproduction of the words and the enjoyment of politics are analyzed. Iseki Tensho appeared on the stage. The detailed analysis of the historical data "Ise Shrine Event"(included in the "Daigo Temple Document") shows that the reproduction of the words when Mongolia attacked the outside world, the God of Tianzhao, the God of Foreign Affairs, and the God of Foreign Affairs are the guiding points.
