项目摘要

2023年度の研究実績としては、研究ノートではあるが「洋舞受容黎明期のバレエと日本の若き知識人たち」（『洗足論叢』51）で洋舞受容黎明期の日本における若き知識人たちの果たした役割について論じた。また、『現代ロシア文学入門』（東洋書店新社）に項目「バレエ」（ロシア文学深読みキーワード集）を執筆した。本年度もマリウス・プティパの評伝「The Emperor's Ballet Master」(Oxford UP, 2019)を著して高く評価されたバレエ史研究者で、英国在住の有名なダンス・ジャーナリストであるNadine Meisner氏による公開オンライン・レクチャーを企画・開催した。Meisner氏は、著名なバレエ・マスター、マリウス・プティパの兄で、当時は弟マリウスよりはるかに有名で欧州の名士だったリュシアン・プティパの生涯と功績について明らかにした。リュシアン・プティパは『ジゼル』を始めとする有名なバレエ作品で男性の主役を踊り、また文化の中心であったパリ・オペラ座のバレエ・マスターを務め、当時の男性舞踊手として舞踊史的に非常に重要な人物だった。オーディエンスは日本以外に海外からも多くの専門家と一般の愛好家が参加して、活発な議論が行われた。日本の聴衆向けにレクシャーの日本語翻訳も作成した。これにより、日本におけるバレエ研究の基盤を強化し、バレエ研究の国際的ネットワークの構築・充足に尽力するとともに、グローバルな発信力を強めることができた。この他に、「関西音楽新聞」「日本アレンスキー協会会報」「東愛知新聞」を始め、公演プログラム等、様々な媒体に執筆し、研究成果を社会に還元した。
