项目摘要

プロヴァンス地方の古代末期および初期中世の石造彫刻について、柱頭以外の彫刻の作例も含めて総括的な研究分析を引き続き行った。当該年度も現地調査は実施できなかったが、オンライン会議やメールを通して、エクス＝マルセイユ大学、カミーユ・ジュリアン研究所、パリ第1大学などの研究者と意見交換を定期的に行い、調査資料や新しい知見を交換し合った。文献資料収集も継続。プロヴァンス地方の柱頭については、ジューク（ブーシュ＝デュ＝ローヌ県）のノートル＝ダム＝ド＝コンソラシオン礼拝堂の発掘から出土した柱頭、およびサン＝パンタレオン小教区聖堂（ヴォークリューズ県）の再利用柱頭の年代を再検証し、古代末期の地方工房における柱頭制作について再考した。マルセイユのサン＝ヴィクトール修道院クリュプタの「聖ラザールの洞窟」の柱頭の改変問題については、新たな着眼点による分析を進めている。フランス南東部の初期中世の彫刻におけるアルカイスム（擬古主義）の問題意識について研究史を整理したが、特に問題となってきた埋葬モニュメント群の装飾と年代を再検証し、地方工房における彫刻技術、様式およびモティーフの問題について分析を進めた。ロゼット装飾と西ゴート美術について資料を収集し、年代比定についての問題点を明確にしていった。
