I presented a paper on the possibilities for minority language translation at the ACLAR (Australasian Children's Literature Association for Research. The title of the presentation was 'Taking Ownership: Domestication or Appropriation of Children’s Literature Translated into Minority Languages', and it concerned the theoretical discussions of overt domestication as a translation strategy for minority languages, and also a focus on the status in translation in multilingual societies. I conducted a major online survey of reading on translations which examined the attitudes and behaviour of bilinguals reading both original works of literatures and also those same works in translation. I have completed and had accepted a chapter for a book on children's translation.
