项目摘要

本研究「総合芸術におけるジャポニスムの表象の変容と異分野間の影響関係に関する比較芸術研究」は、演劇・オペラ・映画等の総合芸術において、ジャポニスムがどのように表象され、その表象が異なる芸術様式・文化圏・時代を越える際にどのような変容を遂げてきたのか、また、日欧の芸術作品や、ジャポニスムを取り入れた異なる芸術分野の間にどのような相互影響関係が認められるのかを追究する学際的比較芸術研究である。そのため、分野、国境、時代を越えた学際的研究を行い、世紀末芸術及びそれ以降の日欧の文学と視覚芸術、そして舞台芸術を関連づける研究活動を行ってきた。2020年度は、本研究に関連して京都女子大学創基100周年記念特別企画展観「京女100年の至宝」（於錦華殿、2020年11月~12月）に於ける展示作品の選定及び図録解説を担当した。2021年度は、8月にオンラインで開催された国際アジア学会、"The 12th International Convention of Asia Scholars - Crafting a Global Future" にて英語による単独研究発表（Crafting a Global Future of Theatre: A Comparative Study of New Directions in Theatre Practicesin Japan and in the West）を行った。質疑応答も充実し、海外の研究者と議論を発展させた。また、京都女子大学附属図書館貴重書展示コーナー展覧会「ビアズリーと『サロメ』」（2021年11月~2022年3月）の企画、展示作品の選定及び解説を担当した。2022年度は、美術館での調査も活発に行い、19世紀末から20世紀に掛けての芸術家の作品研究を進めた。また、書評の依頼も受け、演劇動向に関する研究成果を反映させた。
