本研究は、相手と行動するタイミングを選ぶ調整型タイミングゲームに対する研究である。2023年度は、昨年までの研究成果に基づきグローバルゲームによる均衡選択によるアプローチで研究を続けた。しかし、その結果として、Michal Szkup and Isabel Trevino (2015)によって明らかにされたのと同様の理由によって、多人数で多段階のグローバルゲームにおいては、1段階目の他者の行動を観察することで、2段階目にはファンダメンタルに関する正確な情報を得ることができるため不完備情報ゲームが成立せず、問題が解決しないことが分かった。しかし、研究過程においてグローバルゲームについてのいくつかの有用な性質を得た。具体的には(1)2人グローバルゲームについて、従来の仮定を強くすることにより（対称なプレイヤーであり、2つの行動を選ぶときの期待利得の差がシグナルについて狭義単調増加）、複雑な導出過程を単純にすることができた。(2)一般の2人非対称グローバルゲームにおいても、従来の複雑な導出過程を、いくつかの部分問題に切り分け、仮定をおくことで、見通し良く結果を得ることに成功した。(3)ノイズの確率分布にある自然な仮定をおくと、(2)の結果が得られることが明らかになった。つまりノイズの確率分布にある仮定をおくことで、見通し良く結果を得ることができる。(4)ゲームを決定づける不確実性の要因（ファンダメンタルズ）とノイズの集合を離散化し、グローバルゲームによって均衡を選択する枠組を作ることができた。これにより、情報学やアルゴリズムゲーム理論など、多くの分野との連携が可能になると考えられる。コロナ禍で、当初予定していたいくつかの学会や研究集会が中止になったため、これらの成果は発表にまで至っていない、2023年度はこれらの成果を発表していきたい。
