项目摘要

本年度の研究は二国間での戦略的な国内のインフラ供給のゲームについて、リカード的な貿易モデルで分析を行った。労働賦存量の大きさの異なる二つの国を考え、各国の政府は自国の厚生を最大にするように自国内に公共インフラを供給する経済を考える。そしてこれら二つの国が貿易を行っているときに相手国の公共インフラの供給量の水準に応じて自国の最適な公共インフラの供給量を決めるように各国政府が行動するものと考える。このような政府間の公共インフラの供給ゲームのナッシュ均衡下で達成される二国間での貿易のパターンについて、労働賦存量が大きな国は公共インフラが生産により大きな効果を享受している財を輸出する一方で労働賦存量が小さい国はその反対の財を輸出することになるという結果を得た。この結果によって、基本的には労働賦存量が大きな国ほど自給自足状態での公共インフラが生産により大きな効果を享受している財の相対価格が低くなるため、通常の比較優位論の法則が供給インフラの戦略的供給ゲームの場合でも機能していることが解明された。以上の結果は国際誌Foreign Trade Reviewに論文として掲載されている。引き続いて、上述のモデルにおいて両国の労働賦存量が同一である場合にナッシュ均衡下での両国の公共インフラの供給量は同一になるかどうかという課題の解明を行っている。この問題は同じようなファンダメンタルズを持つ国の間でも経済状態が異なるという状況が現実にしばしば見受けられることから、symmetry-breakingの問題として知られている。この課題について、本研究課題において同じ二つの国でも均衡においては貿易を通して異なる経済状態になるという分析結果が得られているが、このよりわかりやすい分析方法への改良を現在行っている。
