项目摘要

令和４年度は，期待インフレ率を織り込んだ物価指数の開発に取り組んだ．よく使われる物価指数は静学的な支出を想定するが，一般的に家計は時間を通じた動学的な支出を考える．また，「物価指数」は物価を通じた経済の変動を表すが，その背景には一定の水準の生活を営むために必要な「生計費」を算出することでもある．静学的な物価指数では，この「生計」は時間を通じたものではなく，その場1期間のみの消費を表すものとなる．時間を通じた動学的・長期的な支出を考慮した物価指数の方が現実的であり，物価の動向をより正確に知ることができる．しかし，先行研究で開発された動学的な物価指数（Dynamic Price Index）は，時間を通じて利用可能な耐久消費財，将来支出の原資であろう資産価格を考慮するものとなっている．この場合，「現在」に比べて「将来」の比重が非常に大きくなり，動学的物価指数は資産価格指数を表すことになりかねない．そこで本研究では，家計の動学的行動を考えつつ，時間を通じた物価指数の開発を考えたものである．ここで利用するのは期待インフレ率である．期待インフレ率は将来を考慮するという時間変動を前提にした指数であり，期待インフレ率を利用することで動学的な支出を考慮した物価指数となる．また，家計の動学的行動は，オイラー方程式に示されるように，2期間の消費関係で表すことができる．この2期間の関係に期待インフレ率を導入することにより，家計の動学的支出を考慮に入れつつ，「資産価格」に依存することなく，新たな物価指数を示すものとなっている．
