平成19年度は,主に期待インフレ率の計測方法に関する理論・実証研究を行ってきた.1点目として,Carlson and Parkin(1975)の開発した手法について,実際に日本のデータに当てはめる場合における特性について研究した.ここでは,アンケート回答割合の単純な差し引きによる指数は誤差が大きく,誤差を小さくする何よりの方法は観測数の増加であることを発見した.この結果は"Estimating Inflation Expectations from Survey Data-An Evaluation of Measurement Error by Monte Carlo Simulation"という論文としてまとめ,現在海外査読誌に投稿中である.2点目として,2004年から内閣府が始めた期待インフレに関するデータを用いて,期待インフレが実際にどのような分布をしているかの研究を行った.期待インフレにおいて,歪度,尖度を考慮に入れないことは重要な情報の見落としであることを発見した.この結果は,"Estimating the Distribution of Inflation Expectations"という論文としてまとめ,現在海外査読誌に投稿中である.3点目として,前年度からの研究である労働市場の特性と技術進歩に関する理論研究を引き続き行った.この成果は,"Process Innovations and Reallocation of Labour:The Case in which A Labour Union Promotes Productivity"という論文としてまとめ,英米や日本でのdeunionizationの過程とも整合的であることを発見した.現在海外査読誌に投稿中である.
