本研究の目的は、トランスナショナル・ヒストリーとしての20世紀都市史研究の一環として、都市ガバナンスの視角からドイツの歓喜力行団（KdF）と日本の厚生運動の実態比較及び相互関係の考察を進めるとともに、両運動の形成を可能ならしめた歴史経路を明らかにし、両大戦間期の日独都市において余暇の組織化が共時的に展開され得たことの要因と、その社会経済史的意義を解明することにある。2022年度はようやくドイツへの渡航が可能となったため、ハンブルク州立文書館およびハンブルク大学現代史研究所、ハンブルク州立図書館で史料調査を実施した。この調査により、主に1937年から1939年にかけて毎年ハンブルクで開催されたKdF全国大会の史料と、毎年の全国大会を含むKdFの多様なプログラムを通じて国内外からのインバウンド客に対応する過程で「KdF都市」としての地位を確立させていったハンブルク市の実態に関する史料を収集することができた。これと並行して、これまで行ってきたハンブルクにおけるKdFプログラムと大阪における厚生運動の交流史・比較史分析を英語論文"From Hamburg to Osaka? Organising Leisure through Kraft durch Freude and Kosei Undo"として取りまとめた。また2022年9月にアントワープ大学で開催されたヨーロッパ都市史学会の国際大会において"Towrads a Transnational Urban History in Japan and Europe. Modernity and Governance"と題するパネル・セッションを組織し、各報告へのコメントおよびフロアとの討論を通じて、トランスナショナルな都市史のあり方について議論を深めた。

The purpose of this study is to provide a link for the study of urban history in the 20th century. The perspective of urban history is to compare the state of Japanese welfare movement and to investigate the relationship between them. The organization of leisure time in a large city has its main causes and significance in social history. In 2022, the National Library of China conducted a survey of historical materials at the Institute of Modern History of the National University. This investigation was carried out from 1937 to 1939, and the historical materials of the KDF National Congress were collected. The historical materials of the KDF National Congress were collected from the historical materials of the city. A History of Communication and Comparative History of the Welfare Movement in Osaka Organizing Leisure through Kraft durch Freude and Kosei Undo September, 2022: The University opened the International Conference of the Society for Urban History,"Towrads a Transnational Urban History in Japan and Europe." The topic of "Modernity and Governance" is organized, discussed and discussed in depth in the context of urban history.
