本研究の目的は，現実に即した場面を教示し，タブレットを用いてロールプレイを行い，ソーシャルスキルの評価も可能な限り自動化した自閉スペクトラム症児・保護者用ロールプレイテストタブレット版（RPTCPタブレット版）を開発すること，ならびに，RPTCPタブレット版の臨床的有用性を検証することである．計画している具体的な研究項目は，Pha1．標的スキルの教示や質問と回答方法に改良を加え，音声認識，対話システムを取り入れたRPTCPタブレット版の開発，Pha2．テスター用トレーニングツールの作成，Pha3．RPTCPタブレット版の臨床的有用性の検証，の3つである．今年度，RPTCPタブレット版の試作が完成し，定型発達の小学2から6年生とその保護者18名（9組）を対象に，RPTCPタブレット版を用いてソーシャルスキルの評価をする予備実験を行なった．対象となる子どもとその保護者に，タブレットの使い方についてのアンケートを行ったところ，概ね戸惑うことなくタブレットを使えることがわかった．予備実験を踏まえ，タブレットからの教示方法，タブレット画面の提示内容，評価方法について再度検討し，改良を加え，現在，RPTCPタブレット版の最終版を作成中である．また，RPTCPタブレット版を使用する際，トレーニングツールがなくとも，テスター用マニュアルの内容を充実させることでRPTCPタブレット版を使用する見込みが持てた．そのため，当初予定していたPha2．テスター用トレーニングツールは作成せず，RPTCPタブレット版テスター用マニュアルを充実した内容にすることとした．マニュアルの内容は詳細かつ，視覚的にわかりやすいものとなるよう研究者間で検討し，作成している．
