2022年度は、前年度に発表した教育指導委員を介した日本本土の教育課程や教育実践の沖縄への指導に関する論文を発展させるべく、琉球政府文教局、沖縄教職員会、教育指導委員個々人に注目して史料調査を進めるとともに、アメリカ統治期の日本政府による沖縄への「教育援助」について「医療援助」を視野に入れながら概観する小論を発表した。①昨年度発表した論文で注目した沖縄国語教育研究会に視点をあて、同会の機関誌『国語沖縄』、同会にかかわった教育指導委員である倉澤栄吉など、また同会の中心メンバーである上里昌栄などの著作ならびに活動について、史料調査を行なった。並行して、沖縄教職員会の教育研究集会での報告や、琉球政府の指定する実験学校・研究学校での調査研究の報告などの史料調査も行なった。2022年度は史料調査を行なったにとどまるが、23～24年度にかけて、これらの史料を交差させて整理と分析を進め、研究成果を公表するように計画している。②齊木喜美子編著『戦後沖縄史の諸相』において、泉水英計が「日本の医療援助にみる米国施政権下の琉球」を執筆したことを受け、アメリカ統治期の日本政府の「沖縄援助」の主要なものとして教育と医療があることから、「医療援助」を相対化する手がかりとして「教育援助」を概観する小論を同書のブックガイドとして発表した。本科研費での研究は琉球政府期の沖縄でのことばの教育を直接の対象としているが、その時代状況、政治・社会状況として、今後も日本政府による沖縄援助の視野をもって研究を進めていく必要がある。
