项目摘要

2022年度には、感染症等の状況も落ち着き、特に保育現場における調査活動の制限が大幅に緩和された（受け入れ協力が得られた）ことから、本研究に兼ねてより研究協力の承諾が得られている国内外の園等に訪問し、関係者へのヒアリングなどを通じての実態調査に取り組んだ。本研究は、保育者の育成や成長に力点を置いて、特に実践を基礎に成長プロセスを作り出すという往還型の成長モデルを前提とし、リフレクションなどの活動が園の中で取り組まれ、実践の向上（保育の質の向上）という成果が得られる過程を明らかにするものである。今年度に入り現地での調査は可能となったものの、感染症の影響から臨時に整えられた園内の体制や仕組みが依然として継続する中で、上述の取り組みについては、特に時間の確保の面から優先順が下がらざるを得ない状況にも直面していた。このような背景にあったとしても、その事態に対応したあらたな育成の取り組みを導き出す必要があることも研究チームの中では了解されており、次善策を導くべく検討を重ねている。しかし、感染症の影響以外にも、保育者の働き方に影響があるほかの要因（例えば、働き方改革や配置人員の問題）が新たな課題として噴出し、検討・議論の方向性は、これらの状況をふまえた新たな育成モデル・プロセスづくりが中心となってきている。この観点で年度の後半では各園の管理職層が集まる研究会を複数回開催し継続的に検討を進めてきている。こうした経緯から、広く保育者の育成・成長に関する取り組みや制度について情報収集をする必要性も生じたことから、海外にも視野を広げ、数か国における取材を実現した。本研究は当初の予定では当年度で終了する予定であったが、上述の議論をより具体的に現場レベルに落とし込むことで、より幅広く、現実的な提案をすることが期待できると考え、一年間研究期間を延長し引き続き取り組む予定である。
