新学習指導要領「生きる力　学びの、その先へ」では、幼稚園や小学校において「身近な自然」との関わりを、自然観察や遊びを通じて教育の中に取り入れていくことが重要である、とされている。特に、未就学児に注目すると、幼稚園教育要領、保育所保育指針には、幼稚園、保育園、認定子ども園のすべてに共通して「育ってほしい姿（10の姿）」が明記され、その中の一つに「自然との関わり・生命尊重」が示されている。そこで、本研究では、自然教育コーディネーターが学校や幼稚園で自然観察や自然遊びを実践する、プッシュ型支援の推進を目指して研究を展開している。しかし、新型コロナウイルス感染症の流行のため、学校や幼稚園への外部の人間の立ち入りが厳しく制限されたため、この3年間、研究は遅れて進展している。令和4年度に関しても対面での活動が難しかったため、ウェブ会議システムなどを利用して研究協力者、関連する外部研究者、自然教育コーディネーター・実践者と連携し、以下について研究を進めた。（1）小学校、幼稚園、保育園でどのような自然観察や自然遊びを実践しているのか、また、その際の課題は何かを聞き取り調査した。（2）身近な自然を教育の現場に持ち込む際に、動画や写真といったデジタルコンテンツをどのように利用するかを検討した上で、コンテンツの蓄積を行った。（3）コロナ下でどのように授業を展開していけるのか意見交換を行った。（4）モデルとなる保育園の協力を得て、野外観察会を実施した。野外観察に先立つ事前学習時間、野外観察後の事後学習時間を設定し、それらの効果について検証を行った。（5）幼稚園教諭・保育園保育士および園長・保育主任に対する講演会を開催し、自然観察や自然遊びの効果を普及啓発するとともに、自然と触れ合う機会や自然に関する講演の受講の機会の前後で、幼稚園教諭・保育園保育士の意識がどのように変化するかを調査した。

(1) Primary schools, kindergartens, and nursery schools are required to conduct research on nature observation and nature tourism. (2) Close to the scene of nature education, animation photos, discussion, and accumulation (3) The exchange of opinions between teachers and students is carried out. (4) The cooperation of the conservation park and the field inspection meeting were carried out. The time for pre-study and post-study of field observation shall be set, and the results shall be verified. (5) Presentations by kindergarten teachers, nursery school teachers, principals, and nursery directors, and research on the promotion of the effects of nature observation and nature tourism, the opportunities for nature and contact, and the opportunities for lectures before and after the lectures, and the awareness of kindergarten teachers and nursery school teachers.
