Technische Universität Berlin is about to establish a fund for publishing in order to enable members of the university to publish their results of research in an open access way. Fees for publishing in quality-checked open access journals, which hae been established for open access publishing exclusively, can be paid out of that fund. The creation of the open access fund is going to be made possible by DFG resources. The publication fund is one core function of open access activities for the members of Technische Universität, realized with numerous accompanying measures as help in organizational, technical, and legal requirements.
