项目摘要

学部学生の留年は大きな問題として捉えられており、約2割、あるいはそれ以上の学部学生が留年するという傾向が40年以上継続している（文部科学省学校基本調査）。本研究は、将来留年や単位取得状況の悪化に至る可能性の高い学生を抽出する方法を、心理尺度との関連性を解析することにより開発することを目的としている。調査対象学部においては入学3ヶ月後の学生生活実態調査を行っており、本研究では同調査の属性分析に加え、当初心理尺度として首尾一貫性Sense of Coherence(SOC)を加える予定であった。しかし、令和2年度の新入生オリエンテーション中止に引き続き、令和3年度もまた新型コロナウイルスの影響を受け同オリエンテーションが短縮されたことが主因となり、SOC調査の実施が不可能となった。本研究は学部執行部の協力の元に行うInstitutional Research（IR）であるが、新型コロナウイルスによるオンライン授業等、学部学生全般の抑うつ傾向発症が懸念されたことから、学生のメンタルヘルスが大きな問題となった状況を鑑み、令和3年度の学部執行部の意向によりCES-D（うつ病 (抑うつ状態）自己評価尺度)に切り替え、上記学生生活実態調査と共に実施した。2014年度学生生活実態調査の属性とその後の学業成績、および卒業可否について取りまとめた論文については、友達がひとりではなく複数人いることが学生生活の充実度を増し、それが単位取得状況や修業年限内の卒業可否に好影響を及ぼす可能性が示唆される結論が得られた（『学生相談研究』第43巻第2号，pp.159-170. (2022)）。2015年度以降の入学者の学生生活実態調査と学修状況の関連性についても解析を進め、既に4学年分のデータが揃っているため、別途予測式を立て危険性の高い学生の抽出と介入行い、介入効果を分析する。
