项目摘要

【研究の概要】福島原発事故は，福島で暮らす母子に放射線への不安や強いストレスなど，心理学的にネガティブな影響を今も与えている可能性が高いといわれています。本研究では，原発事故当時，福島で暮らしていた子どもたちに心の発達や多動性障害の問題が増えているという可能性を，科学的調査により明らかにすることを第１の目的として行っています。また，第２の目的として，原発事故によって引き起こされた子どもの心の発達や多動性障害がどのような心理学的メカニズムによって引き起こされているのかについて検討します。【令和４年度における研究】令和３年度は，原発事故から3年が経過した2014年に我々が福島県内で行った調査に協力してくれた，当時生後４か月，１８か月，４２か月の乳幼児およびその母親を対象に，事故から10年後の彼らの社会情動性の発達の状況を調べました。令和４年度は，令和３年度に実施した調査データを分析した上で，その結果に基づいて同様の調査を行いましたが，調査対象者を広げ，福島市内の小学校に通っている児童732人と彼らの母親に調査に協力してもらいました。また，福島県以外の地域に居住している母子356組にも調査に協力してもらい，対照群として分析に利用しました。質問紙では母子の原発事故に関連するとみられる精神症状や，母親の放射線防御反応，子どものエフォートフルコントロール，多動や問題行動について質問しました。本研究の結果，原発事故当時，福島県内で暮らしていた子どもたちは他県の子どもたちに比べて不安，抑うつ，その他の心身症状など，いわゆる内在化問題行動を多く示すことがわかりました。原発事故が子どもたちの行動発達的側面に良くない影響を与えている可能性を本研究は示唆していると考えられます。
