项目摘要

本年度は2件の国内学会での報告を行い、2件の論文を発表した。そのほか2件国際学会に採択されていたものの、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響で報告はキャンセルとなった。また在外研究を予定していたが、こちらも感染症流行の影響でキャンセルとなり、所属機関での研究に専念した。具体的な成果は以下のとおりである。第1に、出産・育児期における女性の就業経歴が長期的にみていかに変化したのかを検討した。分析の結果、伝統的に女性就業率が高く、低学歴層の就業の受け皿となってきた自営業・家族従業が縮小し、雇用労働市場が拡大したことで、低学歴の女性ほど就業しやすいという日本の女性就業の特徴が弱まりつつある。さらに2000年代後半以降この傾向はさらに加速したことが確認された。以上の結果に関する論文の一本は投稿中、もう一本は間もなく投稿の予定である。第2に、初職における職業的地位達成の学歴差のトレンドに対して、コーホート人口の変化と高学歴化がそれぞれいかなる影響を及ぼしているのかを分析した。コーホート人口の減少は高学歴化によってもたらされる大卒者数の増加のペースを緩やかなものに抑えたために、学歴間格差は安定的に推移したという仮説を諸調査データの分析から検証することに成功した。現在論文投稿、査読を経て修正原稿を提出したところである。第3に、労働力調査データを使用し職業移動のトレンドを分析した。2000年代以降、1年ごとにみた職業移動率は非常に安定的に推移したことが確認された。この安定傾向は、職業分布の変化や労働人口の構成（年齢、性別、学歴）変化によってはほとんど説明されなかった。くわえて、職業大分類でなく職業中分類を使用しても、安定化傾向はなおも確認された。この結果は、職業にもとづく階層構造の把握の重要性は減じていないことを意味している。本分析の結果はすでに学会にて報告した。現在、論文を執筆中である。
