项目摘要

21年度は、これまでの研究成果を総括しながら、今後取り組んでゆく研究課題への準備をも進めてきた。また、パンデミックの影響で昨年度は見送らざるをえなかった長期在外研究を実現し、ドイツ語圏の若手研究者との交流を創り出すことができた。そうした中で重点的に取り組んだのは、マルクスによるリベラリズム批判という主題である。かつて「市民社会」派は、諸商品の等価交換関係からなる「市民的」領有の方式が「資本家的」な搾取＝不等価交換の方式へと変質している事態を批判した。こう理解する限り、等価交換の「高次復活」こそがポスト資本制社会の理念とされてしまう。だがこうした解釈には、等価交換関係を成り立たせる歴史的諸前提への関心が欠落しており、これに対して本研究は、『資本論』準備草稿群を題材として、近代市民社会そのものに対するマルクスの批判を再検討すべく試みた。等価交換原理が前提としているのは、それぞれ単一の諸個人が無所有者であること、そしてかれらが労働をつうじて何かを産出して初めて、それとの引き換えに生活資料を取得するという関係性である。生活資料が有限であることからして、この取得それ自体が既にして競争であるが、しかしこの関係性は決して歴史的に不変なのではなく、共同体諸形態の解体と資本蓄積をつうじて人為的に成立させられた特定の事態なのである。このことを暴露し、もって＜自由・平等・所有＞という近代市民社会のイデオロギーを歴史化すること、ここにマルクスの意図があったと考えられる。このように理解することが重要であるのは、「市場」ともリベラリズムとも対決も回避した「社会主義」なるものが、近年主張され始めているからである。今後の研究の展開としては、商品経済そのものの廃棄についてのマルクスの構想を、彼の共同体論との関係で検討することによって、マルクス的な「社会主義」論の実相を明らかにするものとしたい。
