2021年度は、(1)朝鮮人という転向者、(2)転向と「日本回帰」、(3)中野重治と朝鮮、の 3つの問題設定に関して研究を行い、以下の成果を得た。(1)(2)について：プロレタリア文学運動が壊滅した時期に模索された共同戦線の中で、朝鮮人との民族的連帯の可能性がどれほどあったのか、この課題をめぐり、阿部知二の長編小説『冬の宿』（1936年）を取りあげて考察した。韓国日本学会の大会で「1930年代における自由主義者の文学的抵抗と朝鮮認識――阿部知二「冬の宿」をめぐって」の題名で韓国語発表を行った（オンライン参加）。その後、論文化し、国際高麗学会日本支部機関誌『コリアン・スタディーズ』に投稿、掲載が決定した。昨年度に引き続き、韓国から転向や親日をめぐる文学・思想問題を扱ったり、植民地時代の朝鮮人プロレタリア文学者に関する書籍や論文を取り寄せて精読し、転向を日韓共有の国際的な問題に引き上げるための土台作りを進め、在外研究が可能になる状況に備え続けた。(3)について：「一九五〇年代前半の中野重治における朝鮮認識の転換と展開――「被圧迫民族の文学」と「司書の死」をめぐって」を日本社会文学機関誌『社会文学』に発表した。これと並行して、中野重治の朝鮮認識の到達点と可能性を見定める研究を進め、2021年12月に青弓社より『中野重治と朝鮮問題――連帯の神話を超えて』を出版した。出版後、『東洋経済日報』に自著紹介記事を発表した。また『月刊イオ』に著者インタビューが掲載された。
