项目摘要

本年度は、歌舞伎鳴物に関係する一次史料調査、音楽構成技法データベースの入力、演奏家への聞き取り・参与観察を継続した。また成果の一部については論文投稿を行った。とくに年度当初は史料所蔵機関が閉鎖し、対面取材の憚られる状況が続いたことから、収集済の一次史料にもとづくデータベース入力作業を主に進めた。併せて、崩し字や略記号で記載される史料群について、三味線旋律との相関関係をより明確に提示するため譜例の作成を試みはじめた。また録音・映像資料のデジタル化を進めた。最初の緊急事態宣言解除後から、徐々に閲覧利用ができるようになった各機関において、さらなる史料調査・収集を進めた。初年度調査で所在不明箇所の判明した東京国立博物館所蔵『東博本鳴物手付』については、不明部分を含むネガフィルムを閲覧した。また、東京文化財研究所蔵『道しるべ』は明治から大正の実態をしめす手掛かりとして注目されたことから、フィルム全編を画像データ化して分析対象に加えた。取材調査は、インフォーマントそれぞれの意向や、各会場の判断にしたがって進めた。音楽構成技法についての検討材料がある程度蓄積された一方、上演記録・演奏者の系譜検討などの歴史研究によって背景を把握し、分析の妥当性を担保すべきという博士論文以来の課題が浮き彫りになっている。この解決にむけた足掛かりのひとつとして、当該期の先駆的存在とされる初世藤舎芦船・初世中村寿鶴の履歴を明らかにした論文等を年度末に発表した。また及川尊雄氏旧蔵資料の音楽実態を論じた小論が報告書に掲載されたほか、前年9月の学会発表を発展させた論文が査読を経て受理され、次年度内に刊行予定である。
