项目摘要

本研究は12世紀の哲学者スフラワルディーの思想を対象とするものである。彼の認識論を論理学と自然学に着目しつつ明らかにすることで、その哲学体系の理論的構造を明らめることを企図する。本年度（延長期間分も含む）の実績については以下のとおりである。当初の計画に掲げていたとおり、博士論文を成稿し提出しえたことがまず本年度の最大の成果として挙げられる。この博士論文では、スフラワルディーの主著『照明哲学』を一つの統体として連続的に読み抜くことで、これまで彼の思考にまつわってきた哲学か神秘主義かという二分法的な問題構制を排却し、同書で示される体系を主体と真理の関係性を問いなおす哲学として捉えかえした。この博士論文の提出それ自体のほかに、同論文執筆の過程において2本の論文を執筆・投稿することができたことも成果として挙げられえよう（これらについては採録は決定していない）。また副次的な成果物として、博士論文執筆後にこの内容にかかわる論文を別途一本執筆しえたこともついでに述べておく（なお、この論文の「提出」時期そのものは期間終了後である）。さらに博士論文へと集約するプロジェクトにかかわるものして、スフラワルディー形而上学における何性の存在論的身分を問題とする口頭発表も行なった。本研究員の期間中にはまたスフラワルディー哲学のみならず、彼が属したアラビア語世界の知的営為（哲学や神学）についても広く研究する機会をもったが、本年度におけるその具体的成果としては、シャフラスターニーのアシュアリー学派をめぐる説述の共同翻訳・解説の発表とイブン・シーナーの認識論にかんする口頭発表が挙げられる。こうした成果の一方で、当初本年度に行なうものとして計画していた海外での調査活動については、折からの感染症の流行により実現しえなかった。
