本研究は、（1）申請者が30年以上にわたって続けてきている、アドルノの哲学上の主要著作である『否定弁証法』と『美の理論』を原典で読む研究会（「アドルノ美学研究会」）を、およそ10人の参加を得て継続すること、（2）ベルリンのヴァルター・ベンヤミン・アルヒーフに申請者が赴き、アドルノ『歴史哲学講義（1957）』を閲読・筆写すること、（3）現代ドイツの若手アドルノ研究者を日本に招聘し、講演会と共同研究会を開催すること、の三点を内容とするプロジェクトである。2022年度は、このうち（1）と（2）については計画通り実施することができた。即ち、（1）の「アドルノ美学研究会」はコロナ禍による中断を経つつも、2020年秋にオンラインにて再開され、その後は月に一度のペースで開催され、本年度は10回の開催を見た。研究会と並行して、この研究会の中心メンバーによってアドルノ『美学講義1958/59』の翻訳が進められてきたが、その翻訳原稿は出そろい、目下改稿作業中であり、監訳者の西村誠氏と本研究申請者による解題・解説の執筆もほぼ終了し、2023年5月中には原稿を揃えて出版社に提出、順調に進めば2023年中には刊行できる予定である。（2）については、2022年8月～9月及び2023年3月に申請者がベンヤミン・アルヒーフに赴き、『歴史哲学講義（1957）』の閲読・筆写に着手、継続した結果、全２０回に及ぶ本講義のうち、ちょうど半分の第10講義までを筆写することができた。それに対して、（3）については、もともとユリアーネ・レーベンティッシュ教授（ダルムシュタット工科大学）、ゲオルク・ベルトラム教授（ベルリン自由大学）をそれぞれ10月と3月に東京にお招きし、講演会及び共同研究会を開催する予定であったが、コロナ禍の影響を受け、１年の延期を余儀なくされることになった。
