项目摘要

2022年度は、「英文ログノート」と「現在と未来の英文履歴書」を英語クラス受講学生全員に提出させることに加えて、考案したキャリア教育エクササイズを一部の英語授業で試験的に実施した（長所欠点と欠点の克服方法、性格分析、希望の仕事に就くためにすべき事柄を考える、知的活動とその効果を考える、cover letterの作成、英語を学ぶ理由についての英作文）。学期の終わりに受講学生にアクティビティーの評価と感想についてアンケート調査をおこなった。おおむねアクティビティーは好評で、以下のようなポジティブなコメントがあった：「自分の将来のキャリアについて考える良い機会になったと思う。」「自分の就職に必要な資格や技能を知ることができ、将来のことを自ら意識するようになった。」その一方で、「英文ログノート」と「現在と未来の英文履歴書」の意義を理解しておらず、キャリア教育の効果が見られない学生もいた。このことから、学生たちが提出課題に取り掛かる前に、授業内でより丁寧に準備段階のアクティビティーを行うことにした。「英文ログノート」を開始する前には、どんな知的活動をすることができるのか、その活動によりどのような効果が得られるのかについてグループでワークシートを埋めながら考えさせることにした。「現在と未来の英文履歴書」の前には、英文履歴書の書き方だけでなく、未来の履歴書に書く内容についてグループで考えさせることにした。多くの企業が求める人材の特性である６項目（「専門知識」「国際性」「コミュニケーション力」「チームワーク力・協調性」「チャレンジ精神・積極性」「継続性」）に当てはまる履歴書記載事項を考えさせて、会社が求める人材の特性を満たす人物像をイメージさせることにした。8月に開催されたJACET国際大会でこれまでの研究結果を口頭発表した。
