项目摘要

本研究は、国際的な生産・販売・調達など「財」のネットワークだけでなく、「知識」が国際間・産業間でどのように交換・共有されているかを明らかにし、知識フロー・ネットワーク内の位置と企業の技術力との関係を分析することを目的としている。財・サービスの貿易ネットワークにおける相対的な位置と、貿易を通じた技術スピルオーバー効果との関係についての論文は、査読付き国際学術雑誌であるResearch Policyへの掲載が決定し、すでにWeb公開されている。また、OECDが作成している特許の質指数を利用して、財・サービスの貿易関係と各国企業が出願している特許の質との関係を分析した。財・サービスの貿易において、より中心的なサプライヤーないし顧客となることは、より質の高い特許を出願したり、技術分野の多様性を広げたりする傾向を見出した。この分析結果を学会やワークショップ等で報告しながら、論文の改訂を進めている。さらに、アメリカと中国の対立が深まる中、軍事転用可能な技術を利用した製品の輸出管理が各国で厳格化されつつある現状を踏まえ、輸出管理強化が貿易に与える影響についての研究・分析を行った。米国政府による直接外国製品規制強化は、米国由来の技術を使用した製品の日本からの輸出にも負の影響を与えていることを確認した。この分析結果は、日本貿易振興機構アジア経済研究所のディスカッションペーパーとして公表され、さらに査読付き国際学術雑誌であるInternational Economicsに掲載決定している。近年、半導体関連製品などの輸出の規制がさらに強化されているが、こうした規制は貿易に影響を与え、さらに企業の技術開発にも影響を及ぼす可能性が考えられる。貿易財に体化された技術に対する規制が、世界の技術知識のフローや技術開発力に与える影響について、さらに分析を拡張している。

This study aims to analyze the relationship between international production, sales, and transfer of "financial resources" and "knowledge" among international industries.
