テーマ１については、慶応大学パネルデータ設計・解析センターが実施している「消費生活パネルデータ」の個票データの二次利用を受け、男性労働者が各種のワーク・ライフ・バランス制度を利用することで、賃金上昇に遅れが生じているか否かについての実証分析を行った結果を論文「Flexibility Stigmaは日本で起こっているのか？」にまとめ『季刊個人金融』（2023年冬号、ゆうちょ財団、pp.94-102）に掲載された。テーマ２については、賃金構造基本統計調査、企業活動基本調査、毎月勤労統計調査の個票データの二次利用を受け、データリンケージしパネルデータ化したうえで、長時間労働の抑制を政策目的として2019年度から大企業を対象に導入された超過勤務時間の上限規制の政策効果について定量的な検証を行った。具体的には因果推論の手法を用いた検証を試みた。パネルデータを用いた分析においては、産業別、企業規模別の政策効果を検証のうえ論文にまとめ学術誌に投稿した。テーマ３については、インターネットによるアンケート調査「労働時間と労働生産性に関する実証分析」の4年目の調査においてJP-MOPSの質問に準拠し経営の質、UK STATE OF ENTERPRISE WORK REPORTを参考に無駄な仕事に関する項目を追加し実施した。それらのデータを用いて、経営の質スコアと個々の社員のメンタルヘルスとの関係について実証的に検証する方法について検討した。既存研究には同様の研究がないことから、経済学をはじめHRM、疫学といった関連学問領域の理論モデルや実証分析を参考に仮説を設定することを考えた。その際、経営の質を３つの機能に分解して労働時間に与える影響を分析した先行研究に依拠し３つの機能に分けてメンタルヘルスに与える効果について分析を試みた。
