2022年度は主に下記の事業を実施した。（１）横浜開港資料館収蔵「有吉義弥関係文書」の資料整理の点検等（約440件）を行った。また同文書内の講演原稿（42件）などの写真撮影を行った。これは1974～1981年に有吉義弥が日本国際問題研究所会議・国際海洋シンポジウム・海事海洋研究所などで行った講演の原稿で、郵船会長を退いた後、BIAC議長など国際経済人としての活躍する時代の彼の国際認識などを探るうえで貴重な資料であると考える。（２）有吉義弥の著作目録を大幅に増補改訂した。これまで有吉義弥関係文書内の「有吉社長・会長・相談役　雑誌記事一覧表」を軸に約500件の記事を収集してきた。2022年12月に国立国会図書館デジタルコレクションで一部雑誌記事の全文記事検索機能が追加されたことから、約200件程度の著作・関連記事を収集することができた。この中には、会長就任以前の有吉の国際海運に関する認識などを示すものもあり、今後の研究に資するところが大きいと考える。（３）隣接する分野の先行研究の入手に努めた。具体的には、安部悦生『経営史学の方法』（ミネルヴァ書房、2019年）、畑本郁彦・古莊雅生『内航海運概論』（成山堂、2021年）、若林悠『戦後日本政策過程の原像』（吉田書店、2022年）、稲吉晃『港町巡礼』（吉田書店、2022年）などを入手して、戦後日本の計画造船政策などに関して、知見を広めた。（４）研究分担者との間で随時メール等で連絡・情報交換を行った。
