この研究は,交付申請書に記載した研究目的や研究実施計画に基づいて日本,米国,欧州(英国等),アジア(中国,韓国等)における自動車流通径路(自動車メーカーから自動車ディーラーを経てエンドユーザーへと自動車製品がが流通していく径路)の国際比較をおこなうことが課せられていた課題である。2022年ば,文献調査と日本の国内調査が中心となった。国内の自動車ディーラーへの取材調査を進めた。海外の自動車流通径路の基本的特徴についてはこれまでの研究において確認しているので,新たに解明した特徴を追加的にまとめる作業が中心となった。これまでの研究業績において指摘している特徴を精緻化する作業をすすめた。すわなち,自動車ディーラーの専売制が維持される一方でディーラーモールの拡大やディーラークループの増大が進むとした基本的方向を確認した上で,国こごとの特徴をまとめ,国際比較をさらに体系化する作業をすすめた。また従来の研究成果(日本語論文)を,英文化し,英文の著書として上梓する準備作業をすすめた。自動車流通径路研究と関連する課題として,島嶼国における放置車両問題についても研究を進めた。2023年4月にアジア経営学会西部部会(於流通科学大学)において,太平洋島嶼国における放置車両問題に関する研究報告をおこなった。2023年3月にパプアニューギニアとソロモン諸島を現地調査し,当該国における自動車リサイクルの現状と課題を整理した。この調査は2023年6月の産業学会全国大会(於西南学院大学)の自由論題で報告がなされる予定である。
