项目摘要

社会調査という営みは、近代社会学の生成過程において自明の存在ではなかったし、現在において社会調査とみなしうるよな営みの多くは社会学という学問的領域に収まりうるようなものではなかった。重要なのは、社会学という学問の自律化において「社会を経験的に調べる」という営為がになった制度的・意味的役割を分節しつつ、調査するという営み自体が、学問や言論の機能分化に即して転態していく様相を把握することである、－－こうした視点から本研究は、「社会調査と社会学」の関係性の歴史的来歴を探究してきた。コロナ禍の影響で海外での文献・資料収集が困難となっていたために難航していた本研究であるが、日本にて入手可能な文献資料により相応に有益な研究成果を上げることができている。基本的には、①W.E,B.デュボイスの計量社会学的手法が持つ歴史的含意とドイツ社会学の影響、そしてそれがアメリカにて結実しえなかったことの歴史的要因についての探究を一層推し進めるとともに、継続的にシカゴ学派についての新研究を渉猟し、シカゴ学派・ハルハウスの歴史的位置付けを考察する、など歴史社会学・知識社会学的な研究を進め、さらには②近代における学術誌とジャーナリズム媒体との分化の過程について理論的・経験的に考察を深化させた。これらの成果を2023年度中に公刊できるよう準備を進めている。また第三帝国期におけるドイツ社会学（社会調査）の展開については二次文献についての渉猟を終え、日本語でのパイロットスタディー的な研究論文を用意しているところである。

Social investigation is the process of modern sociology. It is self-evident that there is a lot of sociology in the field of knowledge. This study explores the history of the relationship between social investigation and sociology. This study was conducted in Japan, and the literature data collected from overseas countries were difficult to navigate. The basic theory is: ①W.E.,B. The method of econometric sociology is to hold the meaning of history and the influence of sociology, to explore the important causes of history, to push forward the theory of sociology, to investigate the position of sociology The research on historical sociology and knowledge sociology has been advanced, and the investigation of theoretical and theoretical aspects of the process of differentiation between academic journals and media in modern times has been deepened. The results of the 2023 mid-year public publication are ready for further development. In the Third Reich period, the development of sociology (social investigation) was carried out in the second literature, and the research papers in Japanese were carried out in the second literature.
