本研究課題は、実在する歴史的建造物を通じて、その架構形式と内部空間のデザインとの相互関係を検証し、加えてその相互関係が変容していく状態を観察することで、日本建築に関する新たな知見を得ようとするものである。２０２２年度は、前年度までに抽出して資料収集を完了していた１７世紀に建設された初期の民家建築に関して、架構形式の実地調査及び図面作成を行った。２０２２年度の実地調査は３度行った。まず８月４～５日には阿久沢家住宅（前橋市）・生方家住宅（沼田市）・彦部家住宅（桐生市）・茂木家住宅（富岡市）の４棟、２月７～９日には平井家住宅（稲敷市）・中崎家住宅（水戸市）・椎名家住宅（かすみがうら市）の３棟、２月２１～２３日には臼井家住宅（大和郡山市）・中家住宅（安堵町）・杉山家住宅（富田林市）・中家住宅（熊取町）の４棟について、実地計測・写真撮影などを行い、その架構の詳細を示す図面を作成した。また、８月２２～２４日には、宮﨑県内の民家３棟について架構の確認と写真撮影を行った。２０２２年度に調査及び架構図の作成を行った１１棟は、いずれも基本的な上屋下屋形式の架構をベースにしながら、桁行方向の梁を用いて空間の拡張を行っているものであり、その手法の発達を確認できる事例である。また茂木家に関しては、土間の一部に棟持柱に依存する特異な架構が見られ、上屋下屋形式出現以前の架構を想定する資料が得られた。以上、２０２２年度の調査では、本研究課題が設定した初期民家の架構に関して、有益な調査結果を得ることができた。

This research topic is to examine the relationship between the structure and the interior space of the existing historical buildings, and to explore the new knowledge about Japanese architecture. The data collection for 2022 was completed in the first half of the year, and the related research and surface preparation for the construction of the early civil buildings in the 17th century were carried out. In 2022, the survey was conducted for three times. August 4 - 5:4 buildings of Akusawa House (formerly Bridgetown), Ikufang House (Numa City), Hikobe House (Kiryu City), Mogi House (Tomioka City), February 7 - 9:3 buildings of Hirai House (Inashiki City), Nakazaki House (Mizato City), Shimeika House (February 21 - 23:4 buildings of the Susui Residence (Yamagata City, Yamato Prefecture), Nakaya Residence (Ando Town), Sugiyama Residence (Tomitabayashi City) and Nakaya Residence (Kumatori Town) are planned and detailed. August 22~24, 2016 - 07 - 23 In 2022, the investigation and construction of 11 buildings were carried out, and the basic structure of the upper house and the lower house was carried out. The data of the structure before the appearance of the upper house and the lower house were obtained. The above survey results for 2022 are relevant to the initial framework of this research project and useful for the survey results.
