项目摘要

わが国において大切な人を亡くした子どものためのグリーフケアは、阪神淡路や東日本の大震災後に特に関心が高まり、子どものグリーフケアではアメリカで先駆的な活動を実践してきたダギーセンターをモデルにした施設が、神戸、東京、仙台などに開設されてきた。現在は、それらの施設以外にも多くのNPO団体などがグリーフケアを実践されている。また、そこでは、子どものためのグリーフケア活動を支えるファシリテーターやボランティアがその活動の中心となっており、これらの団体ではその養成も行っている。このようにわが国でも子どものグリーフケアの関心や活動が少しずつ広がっているとはいえ、全国的にみると、その活動地域が都市部や大きな災害があった地域に偏在しているのも事実である。多くの子どもがグリーフケアの機会を得るためには、さらなる啓発活動なども重要だが、地域での活動のあり方を検討するため、現状の活動の実態や課題を明らかにしていくことが重要となる。子どものグリーフケアにも関心が広がり、さらにはファシリテーターなどとして活動している方も増えつつある中で、その活動の実態やファシリテーターの活動の原動力や課題に感じていること、また今後の地域での活動のあり方や期待などについて十分に検討されてきていない。そこで、本研究では、これらの課題を明らかにするために運営主催者、ファシリテーター、ボランティアとして活動している、または活動してきた経験のある方を対象に質問紙調査及び二次調査としてインタビュー調査を実施した。データ収集は、ファシリテーターなどが常駐の方ではないため研究協力者のリクルートには限界があったが、すべてのデータ収集が終了し、質問紙調査43名、インタビュー調査12名の協力を得て、分析、整理を行っているところである。2023年度にはデータ分析を終え、学術集会への発表および論文投稿を行う予定である。
