项目摘要

母語と対象言語における動詞の項構造の現れ方の違いが対象言語の習得に与える影響は、第二言語習得研究の分野における重要なテーマの1つであり、より多くの研究が必要とされる。本研究は、日本語を母語とする英語学習者を対象に、日英語間で項構造の現れ方が対照的な2つの構文－結果構文と受動構文－の習得の検証を行うものである。これまでの実績として、結果構文の習得に影響を及ぼす言語特性について、移動構文の習得とあわせて、言語類型論上の日英語間の差異の観点から検証した結果を報告してきた。2022年度は、結果述語が形容詞であるタイプの英語結果構文に焦点を絞り、学習者による同構文に対する容認性判断に影響を与える要因を分析した。その結果として、これまでに報告してきた「弱い結果構文」と「強い結果構文」の差異－つまり、主動詞が状態変化を含意するか否か－に加えて、主動詞が「瞬間的な接触（衝撃）を伴う動詞」であるか否かが含まれることを報告した。また、その原因として、起因事象と結果事象の間に時間的な間隔が無いこと（同時性）が影響を及ぼすものと考えられる点についてもあわせて報告した。（2022年10月、日本教科教育学会第48回全国大会）
