令和4年度は金融危機防止のための国際政策協調に関する研究について、これまでのモデルを修正する作業を行った。以前と同様に小国開放経済のモデルを利用し、自国が外貨建ての対外借入れに依存し借入制約に直面する設定としたが、政策協調の形態として新たに流動性の供給と信用保証の二つの方法について検討した。さらに、令和３年度中に査読者や学会参加者から受けたコメントをふまえ、加盟国間の景気循環の相関との関連や厚生への影響についてもより詳細な検討を行った。これらの新たな設定を用いてシミュレーション分析を行った結果、いずれの政策も加盟国の金融危機の確率を引き下げる場合が多いことが明らかとなった。特に、加盟国の景気循環の間に正の相関があり、かつその変動率が近い値となっている場合、金融危機防止の効果が大きくなるとの結果となった。このことから、経済の諸条件が類似し景気が連動しやすい近隣国間での経済協力について一定の有効性が示唆された。以上の結果について令和４年12月に日本国際経済学会関西支部にて発表を行い、令和５年３月に国際学術雑誌への投稿を完了して査読中となっている。また、金融政策の効果検証との関連で用いている担保制約と交易条件に注目したモデルについても改良を行った。同モデルによるシミュレーションでは、新興国における交易条件の悪化が実質減価や金利プレミアムの上昇を通じて借入制約の緊縮化を引き起こし、資本流入の急停止につながりうることや、その効果が国の債務残高および貿易財消費割合によって変化することが示された。これらの結果については令和４年６月に国際学会 Western Economic Association International にて発表を行い、そこで得たコメントをもとに追加の分析作業を進めている。

The above results were published in December 2004 by the Kansai Branch of the Japan Institute of International Economics, and in March 2005 by the International Academic Journal.
