项目摘要

本研究は，乳幼児期の子どもの「資質・能力」に焦点を当て，子どもの「遊び」に見られる「学びの基盤」を明らかにすることである。この「学びの基盤」は，いわゆる「早期教育」に代表されるような小学校以上で学習することの前倒し教育のことではなく，子どもの「自発的活動としての遊び」のを通して獲得される「学び」のことであり，子どもの「遊び」を丁寧に考察することにより，乳幼児期にふさわしい「学び」について考察することを目的としている。特に近年，「幼保小の連携」や「架け橋プログラム」に見られるように，乳幼児期の育ちと学びを児童期のそれとつなげる議論が必要不可欠であるが，「遊び」の重要性を理解し合うことは難しい。保育の場であっても，乳児と幼児の保育，施設，さらには保育者同士であっても，十分に共有できていない可能性がある。保育者同士，あるいは保育者と教師，さらにいえば保護者も巻き込みながら，乳幼児期の「遊び」と「学び」を共有することが重要である。今年度もコロナ禍のため，は幼児の観察を継続して行うこと，小学校での授業観察を行うことが十分にはできなかったが，保護者に対する質問紙を実施することはできた。また幼稚園と小学校との連携として，継続的なカンファレンスを通して子どもの姿を共有する道筋を作ることができた。観察で得られた子どもの姿とともに，保育者との関係や子ども同士のかかわりを小学校教諭とも共有する過程，特にカンファレンスにおけるお互いの見方や考え方を議論した内容や，保護者に対する質問紙もまとめているところである。
