项目摘要

本研究は、4計画で構成されているが、コロナ禍の中で、海外での調査がまったく遂行できず、オンラインによる限定的な非対面調査や国内での資料収集にとどまってきた。計画1では、マインド・コントロール状態にあった者がそこから離脱経験の手記、裁判関与で得られた調書、陳述書や公判資料などのデータ整理を進め、再分析するというものであったが、昨年度までに、その理論モデルの構築を終えていたが、さらなるマインドコントロールが関わる刑事事件に関する調書等から情報収集をさらに実施してその妥当性を検討し、いくつかの修正を加えた。また、連携する研究チーム(笹川平和財団)がドイツから招聘したKoehler, D.氏（Journal of deradicalization 共同設立者・編集委員長）と数回の対面会議を重ねて、テロ対策とカルト対策の相似を確認した。計画2では、破壊的カルトの脱会者やそれを支援した人々に対してインタビュー調査を実施することであった。昨年度は、カルト団体の元メンバーや現役メンバーの親を持つ複数の成人に面接することができた。計画3では、テロリスト対策として脱過激化に関心を抱いている海外の専門研究機関を訪問調査することであったが、コロナ禍のために、実施できていない。しかし、笹川平和財団の事業と連携して、インドネシアの機関（Habibie Center）の活動報告をオンラインで実施した。計画4では、破壊的カルトの脱会者対象に質問紙調査を実施して離脱過程のモデリングを行うことであるが、海外調査の実施はできていないが、これまでの本研究の成果や現況の社会的要請を踏まえ、親の宗教から脱会を果たした成人（いわゆる宗教２世）を対象にしたWEB調査計画を進めており、現在、その実施の準備はほぼ整っている。
