顧客接点における人的サービスの提供は，相当の変動性と不確実性を伴うため，サービス提供の個別化と接客従業員の行動により顧客は感動を受けたり，不満を感じる傾向がある．多くの先行研究から従業員の満足は顧客満足に影響を与えることは明らかになった．しかし，観光・ホスピタリティ産業のビジネス現場は慢性的に量と質，両方とも人材不足に直面している．そこで，本年度は，職務不満足の発生要因，転職意向について，および，ロボット導入についての意見調査を実施した. ロボットと人間が共存する効率的な運営方向に対する実践的示唆を提供することを目的とする．サービス産業において人は競争力の鍵となる．今後，人に関わる質的及び量的問題を解決するためのロボット活用は，今後のサービス産業の発展に重要な課題となる．本研究は，観光・ホスピタリティ産業におけるビジネス環境の変化に対して，今後どのような形でより良い職務環境を造成して行かなければならないのかについて，実務的な方向性を提示しようと，業界の当面課題である人の問題を労働環境の整備という視点から「ロボット導入」のあり方を通じてその可能性の探索を試みた．しかしながら，現時点でのホテルの職務環境問題と，ロボット使用に対する要望事項は現状を把握する程度の初歩的な段階に留まっている．ロボットと人間がどう共存して，ホスピタリティサービスの価値を毀損せずに高いクオリティを維持するのか，共存により，顧客と従業員がどちらも満足することができるのか，そして，どの部分までロボットと人間の融合が可能なのか．こういった観点は，引き続き，継続的な調査・研究を通じて，より具体的な内容で議論されなければならない．今回の調査結果を基礎的資料として，次年度はより深度のある調査を行う予定である．
