项目摘要

2020年以降の感染症の流行により、当初の研究実施計画からは大幅な変更を強いられていた。しかし、2022年度においては感染症が前年度に比べて収まったことにより、国外での資料調査を実施することができた。これによりわずかながら当初計画からの遅れを取り戻すことができた。また、すでに入手してある写本画像の読解と論文の執筆を進めた。以下、これらの活動について具体的に記述する。まず、2022年8月から9月にかけての二週間ほど、アイルランド共和国の首都ダブリン市にあるチェスター・ビーティ図書館においてアラビア語写本の調査を行い、写本の画像データを入手した。当初の実施計画に従い、イブン・スィーナーの医学書に対する注釈書の写本を中心にアラビア語写本の閲覧ならびに撮影を行い、合計で約千五百頁分の画像を入手した。さらに、当図書館において過去に撮影・マイクロフィルム化され、そこからデータ化されていた写本、二十二冊分の画像ファイルをイスラーム写本の担当者より譲り受けた。こうして、本研究課題遂行の中で2019年度に国外調査で得ていた資料とは異なる注釈書を入手することができた。また、写本の読解を進め、解読した文章のテキスト・データ化を行っている。データ化により検索にかけて目的の文章にすぐにアクセスが可能となるため、研究をスムーズに進めるための重要な作業である。2022年度に入手した資料を主たる対象として作業を行っている。加えて、研究成果をまとめた論文の執筆を進めた。2022年度中での学術誌への投稿はかなわなかったが、継続して進めている。
