项目摘要

(1) 2021年総選挙における有権者の政策選好および争点の重要度と投票の関係を調べた2021年度実施のオンライン調査の結果を分析し，企画委員会からの依頼を受けて日本選挙学会研究会の共通論題で報告し，その報告論文を修正した論文を『選挙研究』に寄稿した。(2) 2021年度に予備調査をしていた，2021年自民党総裁選を題材としてソフトニュースの視聴とイデオロギー投票の関係を検証するサーベイ実験の本調査を実施した。実験結果はソフトニュースの視聴がイデオロギーに基づく投票をする確率を低めるという仮説を必ずしも支持しなかった。仮説に肯定的な結果を示す観察研究と合わせて論文化する予定である。(3) 民主主義の後退に関して，日本において党派的に動機づけられた推論が政治家の非民主主義的な言動への支持につながるかを検証する実験を新しく企画して実施し，その仮説を肯定する結果を得た。その成果をもとに2023年4月のMidwest Political Science Association年次大会の報告に応募して受理された。(4) 2021年度の日本選挙学会で報告した国会会議録テキストから1959～2019年の日本の政党の理想点を推定してその推移を明らかにした研究について，改稿方針について共著者と議論を進めた。(5) 『法律時報』の編集委員から依頼を受けて，法学者・法曹関係者向けに政治学におけるイデオロギー研究を紹介する論文を同誌に寄稿した。(6) 慶應義塾大学通信教育部『三色旗』の編集部から依頼を受けて，学生向けにイデオロギー推定という研究分野の紹介と本研究課題の成果の解説をする論文を同誌に寄稿した。(7) ある出版社からの依頼を受けて，イデオロギーに関する一般読者向け書籍の執筆を開始した。
