学術論文“A differential game analysis of R&D in oligopoly with differentiated goods under general demand and cost functions: Bertrand vs. Cournot”と学術論文"Dynamic monopolistic competition with sluggish adjustment of entry and exit"の執筆を進めた。前者はCournotモデルとBertrandモデルの比較を中心に行った研究であり、後者は独占的競争モデルを用いた過剰参入定理の研究である。また、理論分析に加えて現実の企業行動や新技術開発に対する政府の政策を調査した。企業へ取材を行い、実際の研究開発行動や技術移転行動に関する調査を行った。また、政府の新技術開発に対する補助金政策の調査を行い、補助金の効果が大企業と中小企業で違うことなどが明らかになった。こうした現実の研究開発行動、経済政策を踏まえたうえで理論モデルの作成を行っている。
