项目摘要

本研究課題ではこれまでASEAN加盟国のうちカンボジア、インドネシア、マレーシア、フィリピン、タイ、ベトナムを対象にして最小行政区分をサンプルとする分析を行い、研究成果の報告（国際学会報告、紀要論文出版）を行ってきた。2022年度までに分析対象の拡大と改良を行い学会等での報告を予定していたが、新型コロナウィルス感染拡大のため渡航制限による現地調査の延期、および国際学会の中止や延期が生じたことと、さらにサンプル数拡張と分析手法の改良を行うために研究期間をさらに１年延長した。2022年度は引き続き研究成果の分析方法の改良と使用するデータの更新を実施した。夜間光画像は昨年度に引き続き、解像度の高いSuomi NPP/VIIRSに置き換えてより詳細な分析を実施している。更新データはサンプル地区ごとの情報量が多い一方で時系列が限られるため、推計モデルの修正と説明変数の工夫が必要となる。そのため貿易データ等の説明変数データの収集と加工も引き続き行っている。貿易データ等の説明変数の収集・加工にともなって蓄積できた新しいデータベースを用いて関連する研究も実施した。貿易を通じた途上国の輸出財の質向上のプロセスについて、２本の研究成果を完成させた。うち１本は2022年度中に紀要論文として出版した。他の１本は学術専門誌に投稿・審査中である。2022年度も関連する分野の国際学会の中止・延期、および現地調査の延期が重なったため期間を延長し2023年度を最終年度として研究成果を学会報告等で2023年度以降に行う予定である。
