Cataloguing and indexing the early modern print holdings of the Johannes a Lasco Bibliothek

The Johannes a Lasco Bibliothek is a research library focusing on the history of Reformed Protestantism in Europe, the history of East Frisia, and the history of education and the book in the 16th and 17th century. As a research library, the JALB offers unique holdings for the afore-mentioned research areas, which document the networks and interconnections of Reformed Protestantism during the Early Modern period in a unique way.The project aims to explore and catalogue the holdings of historical printings at the Johannes a Lasco Bibliothek in a consistent and coherent form. In total, 13.801 titles published before 1801 are to be catalogued and included in K10plus. All entries will be supplemented with provenance information.
