親鸞における「信」の構造の研究―『教行信証』における諸仏の伝法に注目して―

项目摘要

本研究は、日本中世の仏教思想家・親鸞の主著『顕浄土真実教行証文類』（以下『教行信証』）に見られる形而上学的思考を手がかりとして、個別的・経験的な存在である衆生が超越的な存在である阿弥陀仏と関係を結ぶことを可能にする「信」という契機の内実を検討するものである。本年度は、具体的な研究成果として、論文「三願転入をめぐる予備的考察──仏語への視線」（『倫理学紀要』第28集、東京大学文学部人文社会系研究科、2021年）を発表した。『教行信証』化身土巻において親鸞は、衆生が「信」へと接近してゆく具体的な過程を、いわゆる浄土三部経（『無量寿経』（『大経』）『観無量寿経』（『観経』）『阿弥陀経』（『小経』））の受容・読解の過程としてえがき（いわゆる三願転入）、『観経』から『小経』へ、『小経』から『大経』へというように、衆生の実践のあり方の変容を、受容・読解する経典の変容とむすびつけて論じていた。それは言いかえれば、三願転入の論において、衆生が経典に記された仏語とどのようにかかわるかという仏語の問題と、衆生がどのように阿弥陀仏の救済のはたらき（「他力」）に接近してゆくかという「信」の問題とがかさなりあう形で論じられていたということを意味している。本年度は、これまでの本研究の展開をふまえて、まず親鸞における「信」の構造にかんするトータルな見通しとして、親鸞における「信」が具体的な行為を抜きにして成立する内面の変容としてではなく、言葉とのかかわり方の変容としてとらえられるという可能性を示した。そしてその見通しのもとで、三願転入の論のうちで「自力」から「他力」への根本的な転換を問題としている『小経』論を検討し、三願転入の論において親鸞が一貫して仏語とのかかわり方の変容を問題とし、またその変容の具体的なあり方として、称名念仏において他の衆生とかかわってゆくという営為が示唆されている可能性にふれた。

This study is based on the metaphysical thinking and the individual existence of beings beyond existence, the relationship between existence and possibility, and the opportunity to explore the inner world of "faith" in the main book of Japanese middle age religious thinker, Shinran.
