The purpose of this study was to develop Asia standard for assessing health needs with disaster cycle among disabled people. Participants were orthopedically-impaired people with experiencing disasters in Japan or China. Case study with interview was conducted. Demographic data and items in International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) that was developed by WHO were corrected. As the results, 1) health needs and its emerging period were differ depending on when the person was disabled, 2) needs emerging within 1 month and around half year after disasters, 3) needs for access to information and preparedness for supply and public services in addition to items of ICF. Although difficulty to get participants exists, new items in ICF were suggested.

本研究的目的是制定评估残疾人在灾难周期中的健康需求的亚洲标准。参与者是在日本或中国经历过灾难的骨科残疾人。进行了案例研究和访谈。更正了世界卫生组织制定的国际功能、残疾和健康分类（ICF）中的人口统计数据和项目。结果，1) 健康需求及其出现时期因人残疾的时间而异，2) 灾害发生后 1 个月和半年内出现的需求，3) 除 ICF 项目外，还需要获取信息以及准备供应和公共服务。尽管招募参与者存在困难，但还是建议了 ICF 中的新项目。
