Deformation history - Characterization of „colored States“ by measurements of the deformation behaviour during forming (D04)

The aim of the project is, besides descriptors, which map the characteristic values of the monotonic tensile test, also to collect those which address the cyclic and biaxial tensile test. For this purpose, deformation histories are realized (partly up to cracking) with electrohydraulic forming, recorded and evaluated by means of speckle photography and digital image correlation. In addition, the influence of the strain rate on the material properties and the scaling function will be characterized in cooperation with other subprojects.
