Sub-project C06 uses the speckle photography method to determine the material loadings and material modifications (as deformations and strains) required for setting up Process Signatures. The work progam aims at an adaption of the measuring system to the different requirements of the production processes, in particular with regard to the determination of dynamic 3D deformation fields, the use of cooling lubricants and the measurement of fast rotating workpieces. The investigation of the in-process capability of the measurement method is completed by the analysis of the measurement uncertainty budgets as well as the theoretical estimation of the resolution limits.
